A Forthcoming attraction to enjoy.
As regular visitors to Pearly Grey will know, this beautiful island has much more to offer than the spectacular scenery, and of course, the wonderful weather! There is so much to see and do, and always something of interest taking place.
News of an exciting development that will be of interest to both regular and first time visitors to Tenerife is the forthcoming opening of the Siam Park, part of the Loro Parque Group. This will be the name of a brand new attraction in the South of Tenerife, in the local borough of Adeje. Covering 145,000m2 land, the park’s theme will be based on an ancient oriental empire, representing numerous cultures from the oriental world. The typical architecture will be set amongst extensive oriental and tropical plants, and will utilize the natural landscape to create rivers, pools and even a beach, with artificial waves for surfers.
There will also be crocodiles, sealions and a children’s jungle park.
There will be several restaurants, where dishes from the many diverse cultures can be enjoyed, including the unique tastes and atmosphere of a Thai village.
The exciting attractions planned include the Kamikaze ride, through spectacular waterfalls and jungle, and the Siam Roller Coaster, the first on the island, and built with the latest in modern safety technology. The Tower of Power will be the star attraction, with a spectacular fall from 60m, apparently to the bottom of a pool filled with sharks…..
For the slightly less adventurous there will be the slow river ride, meandering past the varying flora and architecture within the park.
