Rick, our delightful Dutch barman, was elected March Employee of the Month by PG managers. Word on the street is that he makes a divine and delicious daiquiri!
This week we decided to drag Heather, our evening compare, out of bed to do some daytime entertaining with Tracey. From the looks of these photos, she´s just as big of a hit with the kids as she is with the adults!
For those of you who have not yet met Heather, she has been working with us since October, and she already has lots of fans among our owners!
New Food and Beverage Manager - Anthony Fitzsimmons
I am pleased to announce that Anthony Fitzsimmons has joined our restaurant team. Originally from the UK, he lived for many years in South Africa. He has extensive catering and restaurant experience. He is joined by his partner Diane and their baby boy James.

New receptionist - Maria del Mar
Mar joined us recently as receptionist. Originally from Madrid, she has decided to experience the better quality of life and weather in Tenerife.

As per the attached photos you will notice as part of the fire and safety plan requirements we had to raise the wall. Unfortunately we had to remove some palm trees that were infected by an Asian beetle plague (you will notice along the coastline many palm trees has suffered due to this). Therefore we cannot plant more palm trees in these flowerbeds. We are sourcing specific plants and flowers that can resist the harsh climate.

The road passing by the resort and going down towards the beach area and the main road has been tarred.

On behalf of Pearly Grey management, we would like to take this opportunity to apologise in advance for the refurbishments which will be taking place in the pool area from 10th of March for two weeks. The resort is undergoing major improvements to better our standards of service for the future.
This necessary and unavoidable work could create some noise and disturbance, but our maintenance supervisors will try their best to keep this to a minimum. You do not need to be concerned, as on a positive note, we will not be closing the pool during this period, only a partial area of the decking.
We are very grateful for your co-operation and understanding in this matter.
