Once again it is Halloween at Pearly Grey Ocean Club, and as usual we celebrated with a Halloween party. All the owners & staff dressed up and had a fantastic evening of fun & laughter.

This years event was hosted by our resident compere, Frightening Jazzy The Death Jeff, who, with the help of Martin Sawyer (Denise’s husband) had spent the whole day decorating the stage & bar areas with all sorts of haunting artwork.

Everyone had a great time!!!!

PG Owners Bill and Hazel Scurry, June Davies, and Betty Higginbotham were among the masses that took part in Heather´s Line Dancing Extravanganza.

A party was held on Saturday, 13th December, for the children of Pearly Grey Staff members. The children were entertained by a clown, and Ricardo let his hair grow out for this special event (now we understand why he shaves his head!).

Heather “McNaughty but Nice,” our dazzling and delightful compere, has a new email account, heather@pearlygrey.com, which at the moment is depressingly empty. Something must be done!

It has been proposed that any and all of our guests with photos of their most recent stay send their best photos to heather@pearlygrey.com, and Heather will pick some to put on this very blog. Make sure you give her your complete name and the date of your photos so you may be credited.

For any of you who haven´t had the pleasure of seeing Heather in action yet, here is a brief bio:

Heather has been in the entertainment business for the past 15 years. Starting off as children´s entertainer for Haven Holidays, she worked her way up to family host and compere. She then worked as entertainment manager for a large resort, where she coordinated two bands and nine staff. Heather, wanting to further her career, ventured abroad 9 years ago and worked as an entertainment manager for 5 years in a hotel here in Tenerife . She has also worked the circuit as compere for many bars and venues on the island, until an opportunity came in October to join the Pearly Grey team. She is popular with guests of all ages.

Heather has also appeared on TV in a six-week documentary on Channel 4 Series and has also had a go at radio presenting.

Hiya everyone, I´d just like to say what a fantastic few weeks we´ve had at Pearly Grey with our Tropical Night and 70´s night.

Guests really got into the swing of things with the 70´s show, opening with “The Carwash,” followed by Grease, “You´re the One that I Want” ….with a difference, Helen from Scotland. Fab! Plus, Kevin, your rep, really got into it!

Thanks to my ABBA troupers as well. All the hard work paid off, and thanks to the bar and restaurant for really getting into things and dressing up. Theme nights will be every Wednesday so watch out, guests, it could be you this week!!! Watch this space, too. I´ve a few new ideas up my sleeve.. FOUR …yes….FOUR different theme nights over the month.
