Fernando is our longest serving employee, he has been with Pearly Grey for 16 years. All the staff would like to congratulate Fernando on a well deserved award.
L’Assemblea del 2007 si terrà sabato 13 Ottobre presso l’Holiday Inn , Luton South.
L’Hotel si trova fuori dalla M1 all’uscita 9 in direzione Dunstable e a 5 miglia dall’aeroporto. Poichè è situato al di fuori della città non ci sono problemi di parcheggio.
Altri dettagli saranno forniti durante l’anno.
L’AGA 2007 se tiendra cette année à l’hôtel HOLIDAY IN de LUTON South le Samedi 13 Octobre. L’hôtel se situe à la sortie de l’autoroute M1, à la jonction Nº 9 en direction de Dunstable, à 5 minutes de l’aéroport.
Il n’y aura aucun problème de stationnement.
De plus amples renseignements seront communiqués ultèrieurement.
The AGM 2007 will be held at the Holiday Inn, Luton South on Saturday 13th October. The hotel is off the M1 at Junction 9 towards Dunstable and 5 miles from the airport and as an out of town venue there will be no parking difficulties. Further details will be provided in due course.
The waterproofing and re-tiling of the swimming pool area on the upper deck is finally completed. Also, the bowling green has been soundproofed and has a new carpet.

It is 5.30am!! Cannot sleep as I am so excited, at precisely 7.32am on the 17th of February in full view of thee magnificent snow capped Mount Teide, 
I finally asked my beloved Ana Maria to marry me! And guess what! She said a resounded unequivocal YES!
So my friends and Family (Geoff, Betty, Kevin, Denise, Rodney, Rosalyn, Dave, Kath, Mr and Mrs Mucker, Gary, Julie, Kirsty and the gang, the gorgeous Woollon Family, Alan Sheila and all the clan, David and Mo freezing probably up in Dunbartonshire, Bob and Judith also a tad cold up in beautiful Scotland, Brian Jacqui, Paul Clare & Molly, Chris Barry Chloe and your little mate, Bill & Les, Paul & Pauline Roberts, The Mullen/Cragg Clan, Colin Glenis, Terence Yvonne, Ann and John, Chris & Joy, all the Steve Clare Easter/Summer Clan, Gordon and Sue, the Barke family, Bev and big Dave, all the Starkeys, Mikey & Mairead, Piddy, Lisa, Ben & Charlie, Jeff & Wendy’s massive Family, Steveo, Sheila and Wez, Bob Andrea Little Bob & Amy, Mally, Ciara and my future Bridesmaid Eva, Jocelyn, Murray, Ryan and another future Bridesmaid Emma, and all the other Family, friends and Owners I have not forgotten but would take me all day to get you all listed here!!) 
Keep early December open as that’s when we are planning the Big Day! We do not have specific dates as yet but as soon as we do I will post it on the Web!
Speaking of the web have you checked out our new Owner video testimonials in the BLOG section? I would like to thank all the owners who took part and also say a big thank you to Dennis our IT guy for working tirelessly on putting them all together.
So my friend that’s basically it, another good man down! Just kidding of course!
Jeff, Clare and I are coming to Brentwood Essex on the 24th of March to the Holiday Inn, places have to be booked through Wendy in our Referrals Department as space is Limited, so please invite your friends and family along so we can show them the benefits of being a Pearly Grey owner, the show shouldn’t last more than half an hour, afterwards when we have finalised all the formalities, we are planning a social get together and a bit of an knees up Pearly Grey style! We will stay at the Holiday Inn for a while then we are open to offers for the evening, cannot wait!!
We also have Lancaster, Wakefield, Edinburgh, Derby, and Bristol all booked, I will post all the times and dates today as soon as I get to work,

DEAR ALL
Many of you have already met and seen me at Pearly Grey. For those that are still unfamiliar with me, I would like to introduce myself as Pearly Grey´s new General Manager since November 2006. My objective in this position is to strive for higher standards, making your holiday unforgettable and build up a business relationship with you. I will update you on a monthly basis by a MONTHLY NEWSLETTER with anything pertaining on the resort operations.
Pool construction works and pool area
We are coming to an end with the pool construction project. Week 6 will be the last of it. It has been a challenging period, but the end result will definitely be a plus to your resort and investment. Soon I will update you with some photos of the completion. We have in the interim also purchased some side tables that can be placed next to your sun bed for your suntan oils, books and drinks, etc. There was a lack of dustbins at both lower and upper pool deck areas; we have purchased new ones for your usage. Soon to follow: ashtrays.
TV Satellite
As you are aware we have experienced ongoing problems especially in the winter season with our TV channels, especially the British ones. The good news is that we are currently installing a new antenna and a new receptor to eliminate this problem.
DVD players
Very soon we will introduce DVD players in all our sea view frontline apartments. We will offer DVD movies for rental at reception and at a later stage we want to introduce them into other apartments too.
Monday sangria meetings
If a meeting is scheduled to take place during your stay you will be advised by letter with your welcome pack. These informal meetings are an ideal way to discuss any changes or update you on resort news. It is also a good way for me to get to know the owners in a relaxed atmosphere. Sangria is offered free of charge.
General painting and up keeping of the resort
The resort obviously needs to be maintained to a high level of standard, therefore we are constantly looking at not only the apartment’s upkeep, but also the public areas to keep it in a good condition. Our gardens have never looked as good as it is now. Our female gardener Pacci, is doing an excellent job.
