On Sunday 24th September, an intrepid group of Pearly Grey staff, from all departments, took part in a sponsored walk in the Tenerife sunshine, in aid of the Spanish cancer Charity A.E.C.C.

The walk started at the “Arona Gran Hotel,” in Los Cristianos, and finished at “Hoppers Bar” in Puerto Colon, a distance of some seven kilometres. About 150 people took part in the walk, the day was sunny and warm, and afterwards some of the walkers even opted to walk back to the “Arona Grand” as well!..all in all a fun day out and once all the donations and pledges have been collected and counted, a considerable sum will have been raised for the A.E.C.C.

We wish to bring to your attention work that will be carried out at our resort later in the year.

Waterproofing and retiling will be carried out in the pool area during weeks 48, 49 and 50. The work will stop during the Christmas period and will start again during weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4.
At this stage we are unable to confirm whether the pool can be used during these periods.  However, if necessary, provision will be made for our members/guests to use the pool at the Atlantic Hotel, which is situated next to our resort.

It should also be noted that the working hours for the company carrying out the refurbishments are 08:00 - 17:00, therefore we apologise in advance for any unavoidable noise and disruption during this time.
